RECOVERY - THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. THIS NOTICE IS IN REFEENCE TO THE PRE-AWARD NOTICE AND THE AWARD NOTICE. THIS ACQUISITION IS BEING AWARDED UNDER THE ESC111 Contract. In accordance with FAR Part 5.7, Publicizing Requirements Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, this is a notification that the Center for Information Technology (CIT), National Institutes of Health (NIH), intends to award a competitively awarded, FIXED Price/Time and Material ESC111 Award, entitled - ARRA Funding Microsystems Sun Fire X4600 Server The purpose of this award is in support of the NIH mission. Products and services are as follows: ADP Central Process Unit ; Sun fire X4640XATO Base with 4x1133W power supplies, also includes DVD-RW and tool-less slide rail and cable management arm; Six core processor board with 1 x 8431(2.4 Ghz Six-Core, 75m); 8GB Memory Kit DDR2-667 Registered ECC DIMMS for Sun Fire. This award will preserve and create jobs and promote economic recovery as well as invest in transportation, environment protection and other infrastructure that will provide long-term economic benefits. This requirement is being processed for CIT by the National Library of Medicine (NLM).
