Description
***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE OF COMPLETE SOLICITATION AND SPECIFICATIONS ELECTRONICALLY IN FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IS JULY 1, 2010. *** Work includes furnishing all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies and incidentals necessary to complete construction including, but not limited to traffic control, clearing, excavation, aggregate placement, compacting, welded wire mechanically stabilized earth retaining walls that include geocomposite drainage systems, guardrail installations, pavement repairs that include geogrid and geotextiles, riprap placment, concrete and rock masonary work, culvert installation, road reconditioning, and slurry seal. Contractor is required to submit plan for approval to provide emergency access to about 20 communication sites on top of Mary’s Peak, during road closures on Road 3010. The project can be located as follows: From the junction of Highway 20 and Highway 34 in Philomath, travel South West 9 miles on Highway 34 to the junction of Mary’s Peak Road, MP 47.9 on Highway 34. Project begins at this location. This project is located on the Central Coast Ranger District of the Siuslaw National Forest, Benton County. The Government’s estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The successful offeror shall be required to submit Performance and Payment Bonds (100% each) prior to start of work. This proposed procurement listed herein is set-aside for HUBZone firms in accordance with the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Act of 1997.
