Description

THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR AWARDED THE IDIQ CONTRACT. The Directorate of Contracting intends to issue a delivery order against an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract, Contract Number W91248-08-D-0001 with Rogers Group, Inc, Hopkinsville, KY 42241. The requirement is to for the contractor shall mill to depth of 2 inches and construct edge keys to provide a smooth transition for the new and existing pavements. Apply tack coat to the milled area. Place and compact 2 inch layer of asphalt binder course. Apply prime coat, place and compact 2 inch thick layer of asphalt surface course. Provide, grade, and compact a 4 inch thick DGA shoulder on each side of pavement. The width of shoulder shall be four feet. Apply pavement centerline, edge striping, and replace crosswalk and stop bars where the physical training trail crosses Mabry Road. This location is near the Angels Road intersection. The estimated area for paving is 29,333 square yards, roadway width is 22 feet. The length is estimated at 12,000 lineal feet. mill edge keys, apply tack coat and leveling course, apply tack coat over leveling course and place 2 inch thick asphalt surface course. Approximate length of roadway is 18,000 lineal feet. Shoulders shall be 2 inch thick DGA, 3 feet wide. Apply pavement marking with reflective glass beads. The delivery order will be funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
