- Provide all Architectural and Engineering services necessary to design a project that will add an estimated 4,400 sq ft. to CLC, Building 162 - 2nd Floor, Project No. 621-321, at the VA Medical Center at Mountain Home, TN. Work includes demolition, roof, new walls/doors, new ceilings, new HVAC, electrical and plumbing, communication, structural load calculations work and modification of existing systems as necessary, all required new finish work, and security elements for a complete renovation project at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center at Mountain Home (Johnson City) Tennessee. Work includes preliminary and final contract drawings, phasing plan, cost estimates, specifications MS Word documents and portable data formats, 3D conceptual and final renderings, and construction period services and sustainable/green design to achieve LEED Commercial Interiors Silver Certification. Develop Bid Alternate of 25% as necessary to assure award of contract within available funds. Construction cost range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Area of consideration is limited to a 200 mile radius of the VA Medical Center, Mountain Home, TN. The NAICS code is 541310 and the size standard is $4.5 million. This request is open to both large and small businesses. Contract award is subject to the availability of VA funds. A/E Selection criteria will include: 1) Team Proposed for this Project; 2) Proposed Management Plan; 3) Previous Experience of Proposed Team; 4) Location of A/E firm; 5) Proposed Design Approach; 6) Project control; 7) Estimating effectiveness. 8) Sustainable Design; 9) Miscellaneous Experience and Capabilities. This is not a Request for Proposal. THREE copies of SF 330 should be mailed to Rachel Reed, Contract Specialist, Acquisition Service Center VISN 9, Dogwood Ave., Bldg 8, Room 313, Mt Home, TN, 37684, no later than 3:00 EDT, July 9, 2010. No faxed or emailed SF 330's will be accepted. Do not contact the VA Medical Center, Mt. Home, TN with questions concerning this request for SF 330 forms or the project. Contractors must be registered in CCR.
