Description

SOLICITATION NO. 30181AB048 PROJECT TITLE: Rehab Radial Gate Structure, Mound City, Missouri PROJECT LOCATION: U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Region 3, Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge, Mound City, Missouri PROJECT CONSISTS OF: The basic project consists of furnishing materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the rehabilitation of radial gate structure. The work shall include, but is not limited to, mobilization and demobilization, upstream and downstream cofferdam construction and removal, demolition and removal and replacement of existing handrails, radial gates, hoist system and appurtenances, saw cutting and removal of damaged concrete, placement of concrete and reinforcing steel, preparation and application of epoxy and/or grout, and placement of miscellaneous gravel and small rip rap as shown on the Contract Drawings. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is issued unrestricted under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-565, and is NOT set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a size standard of $33.5 million. SOLICITATION INFO: The solicitation package will be available via electronic commerce at http://ideas.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about July 2, 2010, with a Bid Opening occurring on or about August 2, 2010. The solicitation package will include the following: An itemized Bid Schedule, Scope of Work, Drawings, and Prevailing Wage Determination and Bid Bond Form. Please ensure you have a complete downloaded solicitation package before submitting your Bid. It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure that they receive all appropriate solicitation documents to submit a competitive Bid.
