- TAP REDESIGN DRAFT SOW THIS IS A SOURCES SOUCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 10.002(b)(2)(i). This notice is issued for the purpose of market research. This request is for planning purposes only, and does not constitute a Solicitation or an indication that the Government will contract for the items contained in this notice. This notice is not to be construed as a Request For Proposal (RFP), nor is any commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract implied, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The Government shall not reimburse respondents for any cost associated with submission of the information being requested or reimburse expenses incurred to interested parties for responses to this notice. Any response received will not be used as a proposal. The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) seeks potential Small Business Sources capable of providing services as identified in the attached DRAFT Statement of Work to redesign the Veterans Employment and Training Service (VETS) current 2 ½ day Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Employment Workshop for separating service members and their spouses. The Draft Statement of Work (SOW), which is incorporated herein, provides both general and specific requirements which the Contractor is expected to accomplish in order to meet minimum contract needs. Independently, and not as an agent of the Government, the Contractor shall be required to furnish and maintain all the necessary services, qualified personnel, material, equipment, hardware, software, and facilities not otherwise provided by the Government, to meet the requirements described in this SOW. Small Businesses are requested to provide a capability statement that includes a clear description of the vendor's experience in the following areas: (1) Curriculum development focused on adult learning audience using the following delivery methods: a. Web based training content and courses b. "Train-the-Trainer" packages (2) Developing career transition/outplacement training and examples of latest best practices in career transition services. (3) Developing a marketing plan. Any proprietary information submitted should be marked. Please include: Company name, address, email address, telephone number, point of contact, DUNS number, and size relative to NAICS code 611430. Please identify all socio-economic categories into which your company fits. Interested vendors must provide their response via email with the subject line reading "Tap Redesign Support Services DOL110RI21005" to the contract negotiator by 12:00 p.m. Eastern, July 1, 2010. All communication regarding this Request for Information (RFI), including submissions should be provided in writing and submitted to the Contract Negotiator via email at spillman.linda@dol.gov.
