NASA/JSC is hereby soliciting information about potential sources for Engineerinig& Operations for Space Vision System & Laser Camera System.NASA/JSC plans to issue a sole-source modification for a 3-month extension with three (3)1-month options to the current Space Vision System (SVS) and Laser Camera System (LCS),NNJ06VA03C, with the Canadian Commercial Corporation/Neptec Design Group Ltd. Thecontract currently ends September 30, 2010. The SVS enables astronauts to perform precise positioningof objects attached to the space shuttle and space station robotic arms. The LCS is alaser-based imaging system which can be used for tracking, scanning, or ranging. The LCSalso acts as a sensor to inspect the Space Shuttle and/or Space Station while on-orbit.
