- HSCG80-10-Q-P45BB5 VARIOUS CUTTERS PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND OVERSIGHT FOR THE OVERHAUL OF MAIN DIESEL ENGINES This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is HSCG80-10-Q-P45BB5 and is a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed-price contract resulting from this solicitation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-35. This request for quotations is a total small business set-aside. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The NAICS code is 333618 with a size standard of 12.5 million. This acquisition is for the procurement of training, technical oversight, and support required to ensure the proper and timely overhaul of main diesel engines #1 and #2 class “A” and “B” aboard 210/270 vessels. The vendor is required to provide the listed items as follows: Please see Attachment for Specification All services will be performed at various cutters at various locations across the United States. Please see attached Specification for details. ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: The contract is expected to be awarded on or about, 13 August 2010. The award will be issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. Vendors should include warranty terms and conditions with their quote. Faxed and e-mailed quotes will be accepted. Faxed quotes may be sent to 757-628-4562 and e-mailed quotes may be sent to Chas Hartley at chas.f.hartley@uscg.mil. Contractors are responsible for verifying receipt of their quotes. All offers to this RFQ must respond no later than 29 June 2010 @ 4:30 pm Eastern Standard Time. (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The Government anticipates awarding one firm fixed price purchase order for this service.
