- NASA/KSC has a requirement for a one year service contract for the already existingImager XE Scanners.NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from RTI Motion Picture Film Group. RTI providesthe maintenance for the existing Imager Advanced XE film scanners within the DigitalImageryAnalysis System. This film scanner is an integral part of the Image Analysisoperationsand is required to digitize the Ground Camera Projects Primary files that arein 16mm and 35mm film format.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the jessica.r.paglialonga@nasa.gov not later than 4:30 p.m. localtime on Tuesday, June 29, 1020. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluatedsolely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on acompetitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed efforton a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solelywithin the discretion of the government.Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
