- RECOVERY—THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A NOTICE FOR SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. THE ACTION DESCRIBED HEREIN IS A MODIFICATION TO AN EXISTING CONTRACT, DOLJ10UA00040. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW. This opportunity was available only to Management & Training Corporation under contract number DOLJ10UA00040. The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management on behalf of the Office of Job Corps has awarded a modification in the amount of $21,050 to the Atlanta Job Corps Center, operated by Management & Training Corp. These funds are provided under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The funding is within the not-to-exceed ceilings for this contract. It would have been impracticable to use a fixed price contract to secure services of the kind or quality required for this modification, since the modification was to an existing Cost-Plus Incentive Fee contract (Cost Reimbursement Contract). The funding is intended to address the following program initiatives: 1) Earth Day Every Day Campaign, and 2) Career Technical Skills Training/Green Equipment Projects to enhance student training opportunities at the Atlanta Job Corps Center. The operator of the Atlanta Job Corps Center will not procure the services through subcontracting opportunities.
