Description
Combined Synopsis This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) against solicitation number FA2550-10-T-2000 Bifilar Helical Antenna. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-41. (iv) The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Number is 334220 - Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing and the small buisness size standard is 750 employees. This proposed acquisition is 100% SDVOSB set-aside for small business. (v) The proposed acquisition consists of the following Contract Line Items Numbers (CLINs): ITEM NO SUPPLIES/SERVICES QUANTITY UNIT UNIT PRICE TOTAL PRICE 0001 2 Each BIFILAR HELICAL ANTENNA MADE BY ANDREW FFP BIFILAR HELICAL ANTENNA OR EQUAL. SPECIFICATIONS: Frequency Range - 245-315 MHz; Gain, Nominal at 280 MHz - 12.5 dBic; VSWR - 1.5 Maximum; Beamwidth - E-Plane 34 and H-Plane 43; Axial Ratio, Nominal - > 2d8; Input Connector - Type N (female); Azimuth Adjustment - 360; Elevation Adjustment - 90; Wind Survival, No Ice - 115 mph; Weight - Antenna--34 lb (15.5 kg), Counterweight--43 lb (19.5 kg), Tilt Mount--10 lb (4.5 kg), and Tripod Assembly--29 lb (13.2 kg); Size - Assembled Antenna Length--122 in (3100 mm) and Group Plane Diameter--39 in (990 mm) Part number (R.H. Circular Polarization) - 63305A-5 -- need two NATO Stock Number 5985-01-136-0180 FOB: Destination PURCHASE REQUEST NUMBER: F3RTC60147A001 SIGNAL CODE: A TOTAL AMOUNT (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired. (vii) Date(s) Period of performance is 30 days ADC. Place of delivery and acceptance: FOB point is Schriever AFB Colorado. (viii) Provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-1 is supplemented per following addenda: Contractor shall submit their quotation on company letterhead stationery, provide solicitation number, the time specified in the solicitation for receipt of offers, name, address, and telephone number of the offeror, unit price, and overall total price, a technical description of the item being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation, terms of any expressed warranty, price, any discount terms, cage code, DUNS number, size of business, acknowledgement of solicitation Amendments. (ix) Provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- (a) Commercial items shall be used. The Evaluation as Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and that the Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive responsible quoter whose technically acceptable quote conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.
