- ATTACHMENT 2. PERFORMANCE CAPABILITY/COMMERCIALITY QUESTIONS ATTACHMENT 1. DRAFT R3 PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS) Air Combat Command Acquisition Management Integration Center (AMIC), Langley AFB, VA, is in the process of determining the acquisition strategy to obtain non-personal services to perform the demilitarization, certification, disposal, and recycling at Range Holding Areas (RHA) for several training ranges used by the US Air Force throughout the continental US and Alaska. The period of performance will cover a six-month base period with four (4) one-year option periods. The government intends to award an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, firm fixed price type contract. The government expects to make an award on or about 20 February 2011 with a performance start date of 1 March 2011. This acquisition will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 27 August 2010. Please note this is an estimated post time and it is the responsibility of interested contractors to monitor FedBiz Ops for all subsequent postings. A draft Performance Work Statement is posted on FedBiz Ops in conjunction with this sources sought notice to provide the size, scope, and complexity of the requirements to interested parties. The Government seeks industry input to determine if this acquisition should be a small business set-aside under the auspices of the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 19or solicited as full and open. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 562112. The Government seeks industry input to determine the appropriateness of this NAICS code. Interested small and large businesses are encouraged to respond, addressing the performance capability questions and commerciality questions attached to this notice. These questions are intended to be used as market research to determine the acquisition strategy and defining the requirement.
