Description

The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for design and installation of a robust telemetry digital link from Walker Mountain to an endpoint in Crescent, Oregon, with current emphasis on Cascades Volcanoes, at an existing tower on federal land to optimize successful data transfer from remote field sites through a repeater to a master gateway site with internet connectivity. The design phase will be completed by 09/30/2010 and the installation phase will be completed by 09/30/2011. RFQ ERQQ0384 will be issued on or about 06/14/2010 with written quotes due on or about 07/14/2010. The anticipated award date of the contract is 07/26/2010. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov prior to award to be considered for award. The RFQ once submitted, may be viewed on the Department of Interior's Business Opprtunities Web Page at http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
