Description

The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement for "design and installation of a robust telemetry link from the southern rim of Crater Lake" to an endpoint south of Crater Lake utilizing both new and existing telecommunications infrastructure on Federal, State, or Private Land to optimize successful data transfer to a master gateway site with Internet connectivity. The design phase will be completed by 30 September 2010 and the installation phase will be completed by 30 September 2011. The RFQ 10ERSS0073 will be issued on or about 14 June 2010 with written quotes due on or about 14July 2010. The anticipated award date of the contract is 26 July 2010. Vendors must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov prior to award to be eligible for award. OnceRFQor quote has been released it may be viewed on the Department of Interior's Business Opportunities Web Page at http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
