- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) ACTION. The Contractor shall provide all professional services, labor, etc., to stabilize and pave the Rainbow Pool Parking area per the Plans and Specifications. The parking area comprises of approximately 6,500 square feet and is located on the Stanislaus National Forest. The construction work includes, but not limited to: excavation for one Forest Service Outdoor Recreation Accessibility Guideline (FSORAG) parking stall, the repair of 21 LF of path, the placement of aggregate (75 tons), hot bituminous concrete (50 tons) on the existing road, the application of 2 coats of Overkote or equal to.79 mile of road and parking areas and the installation of 14 concrete wheel stops and other miscellaneous construction work. An optional area includes approximately 3500 square feet of pavement including a base. LOCATION: From Buck Meadows, Ca., proceed East 2.5 miles on SR 120 to the project site.
