This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number: FA8100-10-Q-0018 This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32. Type of Contract to be awarded: Firm Fixed Price This procurement is a follow-on sole source service effort in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(A)(2), Only One Responsible Source. Due to highly specialized nature of the requirement, competition and subsequent phase-in time associated with a new vendor would result in an unacceptable delay to the Government in fulfillment of this requirement. NAICS Code 541519, Other Computer Related Services. The Defense priorities and Allocations Systems (DPAS) assigned rating for this procurement is unrated. The proposal in response to this RFQ must be submitted to the Contracting Officer on or before 4:00PM Central Standard Time, 19 Jun 2010. The offeror must hold offered prices firm for 60 days. The Nexiant Point of Use Automation and dispensing technology operating system consists of state of the art software and hardware applications that are proprietary to the manufacturer, Nexiant. These systems are critical to providing the Maintenance Wing the ability to automate the product support centers (PSC), provide enterprise wide access to personal protective equipment and provide individual production shops access to common support materials.
