- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT REANNOUNCEMENT AND IS ISSUED FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT OR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. A CONTRACT WILL NOT BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. IT IS A MARKET RESEARCH TOOL (FAR PART 10) BEING USED TO DETERMINE POTENTIAL VENDORS CAPABLE OF PROVIDING THE SERVICES DESCRIBED HEREIN PRIOR TO DETERMINING THE METHOD OF ACQUISITION. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT AND ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. The Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center is seeking vendors with the capabilities to provide Army Rotary Wing Aircraft (helicopter) maintenance and support services at Fort Hood, Texas under the following NAICS 488190, which is the NAICS contemplated for this requirement. This requirement is in support of units, activities, and tenants assigned to III Corps and Fort Hood. This support includes units of the Active Army, Reserves, and National Guard primarily assigned to or training at Fort Hood or in the Army Regulation 5-9 support area. Primary place of performance is Fort Hood, Texas. Period of performance is projected as follows: -- Basic Period 1 Jul 2011 30 Jun 2012 -- Option Period I 1 Jul 2012 30 Jun 2013 -- Option Period II 1 Jul 2013 20 Jun 2014 -- Option Period III 1 Jul 2014 30 Jun 2015 -- Option Period IV 1 Jul 2015 30 Jun 2016 Small Business Firms interested in performing this requirement may reply to this Sources Sought and shall provide the following: (1) Capability Statement (limited to 5 pages in length, singled-spaced, 12 point font minimum) demonstrating the ability to perform the requirement IAW the attached PWS. This statement should specifically describe your firms ability to provide adequate resources to perform the task. This should also include your firms ability to start performance by 1 July 2011. (2) Relevant Experience (limited to 2 pages) preferably exceeding $75M, but not less than $35M within the last three years, including contract number, indication of whether a prime or subcontractor, contract value, Government/Agency point of contact and current telephone number, and a brief description of how the contract referenced is relevant to the scope of work described in the PWS. The Performance Work Statement (Attachment 1) is attached for informational purposes only. No telephone inquiries will be entertained. All interested parties capable of providing these services are encouraged to respond to this SOURCES SOUGHT announcement via email by submitting their responses to Anita Guadiano, anita.guadiano@us.army.mil by 18 Jun 2010, 1600 CST. The information obtained from industry responses to this notice may be used in the development of the acquisition strategy and future requests for proposals.
