Description
ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO Ms. Martha White (256)876-4335 or Mr. David F. Cobb (256) 876-5209. You may fax or mail your request ATTN: CCAM-SM-C, Mr. David F. Cobb, Contracting Officer, FAX number 256-876-5234. NO TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL BE ACCEPTED. The contractor shall provide technical support to refurbish and upgrade 9 existing ADSI stand-alone systems and associated spare kits fielded in various Army units. Period of performance is six months from the date of award. The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price and Inspection/Acceptance will be at Origin. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, this item is restricted to approved source Ultra Electronics Advanced Tactical Systems, INC., 3300 Duval Road, Suite 200, Austin, Texas 78759-3549, Cage Code 0B9D8. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
