- NAICS Code: 813312 The Government intends to sole source to The Coastal Society for "Conference Sponsorship" NAICS: 813312Event: June 13-16, 2010 The US Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Wetlands, Oceans, and Watershed (OWOW) plans on participating in the International Conference of The Coastal Society (TCS) to be help in the Wilmington, NC on June 13-16. The Costal Society is a non-profit organization established in 1975 that provides interdiscipinary forum for informaiton exchange on coastal issue. US EPA will be provided via sponsorship: Display Space for EPA, three admission for EPA for conference, conference materials, and recognition of EPA's role as a sponsor. Under FAR 6.302-1 The Costal Society is the only responsible source for this event. They own the right to their event and there are no authorized resellers. The US EPA's OWOW requires the servies s of the Coastal Society to use the conference as a vehicle to promote and showcase it expertise in coastal resource management. The Conference will allow the program office to use the event as a forum to engage leaders in the field and learn successful new approaches that can be transferred to resource management practicitioners. The Coastal Society has developed a strong and diverse membership; and network of State, Federal, Academic, Private Sector Leaders, and Interested Citizens. This conference event supports of the primary goal of EPA's OWOW; to build the capacity of coastal organizations to achieve success, transfer successes to other watersheds, and document success. It also help achieve Goal Two: Clean and Safe water; and Goal 4: Healthy ecosystems of EPA's Stategic Plan.
