- Description
- The US Army Research Development & Engineering Center (ARDEC), PicatinnyArsenal, is seeking alternative sources and no-cost samples of functional material inks, for ink jetting applications in support of the Device Prototyping and Manufacturing via Advanced Materials and Energetics Printing Program. Testing will be conducted, by the government, on the provided samples and a feedback summary report will be available upon request. The types of inks of interest to ARDEC include: conductive organic, conductive inorganic, insulating, dielectric, semi-conductive, UV curable, photo resist, etc. MSDS, handling & storage requirements, and proper markings are required for provided samples. Bid samples will be utilized for testing and will not be returned. The Device Prototyping and Manufacturing via Advanced Materials and Energetics Printing Program is meeting the challenges of Army 2015 by integrating state-of-the-art technology into military munitions systems. The goal of the program is to create the next generation of flexible electronics and conformal devices for DoD/Army Materiel. This program is integrating two new and highly promising technologies. The resulting technology will be applied to modernize the DoDs/Armys current weapon systems; more mature technologies will be transitioned to the Warfighter. All interested sources are encouraged to respond to this synopsis to identify their materials, specifications, and production status no later than 8 July 2010. All Bid Samples should be forwarded to Mr. James Zunino, US Army ARDEC, RDAR-MEE-M, B60, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000.
