Description
Statement of Work This action is to establish an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract to provide Production Equipment (copiers) to Document Automation and Production Service (DAPS) customers within the Continental United States (CONUS), Alaska and Hawaii along with U.S. Territories in Guam and Puerto Rico. To date all requirements have been met by the use of individual contracting actions. The implementation of an IDIQ contract will enable DAPS to efficiently place devices within the end users timeframes and at a savings to the government by not having to advertise and negotiate many different contracts. These devices will be placed within the Continental Unites States (CONUS), Alaska and Hawaii along with U.S. Territories in Guan and Puerto Rico. Copiers are segregated into six distinct groupings based upon the copier’s speed in terms of copies per minute. Within each band, they are further defined in terms of black & white, single engine, single footprint design, network ready with the ability to turn on and off any non essential ports and protocols and equipment must be capable of utilizing removable hard drives. This equipment must operate and coexist on a network supporting any and all IPv6 and lpv4 systems and products. The estimated placement quantity per volume band is as follows: Band 8 - B&W PPM/IPM Estimated Range 95-105 - Estimated 5 year qty - 119 Band 9 - B&W PPM/IPM Estimated Range 105-120 - Estimated 5 year qty - 50 Band 10 - B&W PPM/IPM Estimated Range 120-138 - Estimated 5year qty - 94 Band 11 -B&W PPM/IPM Estimated Range 138-150 - Estimated 5 year qty - 22 Band 12 -B&W PPM/IPM Estimated Range 150-180 - Estimated 5 year qty - 7 Band 13 - B&W PPM/IPM Estimated Range 285 + - Estimated 5 year qty - 1 For an estimated five year total quantity of 293 devices Any requirements stated on the Statement of Work are subject to change depending on industry comments and the U.S. Governments needs. Interested parties with comments, questions, or an interest in receiving a copy of the proposal are requested to reply to the Contracting Officer by June 18, 2010.
