Description
Department of the Navy, Naval Supply Systems Command, FISC Puget Sound, 467 W Street, Bremerton, WA 98314. This sources sought synopsis is to solicit for potential sources possessing the capability to acquire and install all equipment necessary for a complete 9-1-1 system back-up to the existing 9-1-1 system in Bldg. B78 at Naval Base Kitsap, Bremerton, Washington. This back-up system shall be used in conjunction with the current system to provide reliable 9-1-1 services to the Navy Region Northwest (NRNW). The back-up system will allow for half of the existing 9-1-1 communication lines routed to NBK Bangor, to be re-routed through Bldg B78 located at NBK Bremerton, and then to the Regional Dispatch Center (RDC), bypassing Bldg. B1100.The back-up system installation shall be in Bldg. B78 at Bremerton, Washington, on the 3rd floor in an equipment room at the Local Dispatch Center (LDC). All electrical wiring and required 110v apparatus is/shall be made available outside this contract. This new equipment will provide back-up functionality to the existing system, therefore it is required that all equipment satisfy the interoperability capability necessary to ensure uninterrupted service. The equipment required includes an additional ECS-1000 selective router, and associated peripherals, manufactured by PlantCML-EADS. The NAICS associated with this requirement is 517110. The Government requires the contractor to obtain access to the facility/building, located in the CIA section of PSNS. This synopsis and any subsequent amendments will be posted to NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil.
