SOW RFQ INTERIOR CARPET RENEW 3SCOPE The intent of this item is renew carpeting in designated compartments on board Coast Guard Cutter Morgenthau (WHEC 722). Government Furnished Property: NONE 4REFERENCES Applicable Documents: None 5REQUIREMENTS The Contractor shall provide all labor and material to accomplish the following in accordance with the General Requirements: GENERAL 5.5.1 The concerned work areas are listed in the Table 3.1.A. Measurements are accurate. Submit a CFR for each affected space noting any discrepancies in equipment and system operation. INTERFERENCES- Government will move all interferences. 5.2 REQUIREMENTS- 5.2.1 REMOVAL- Remove and scrap all carpet from the work areas specified in Table 3.1.A. Remove and scrap all existing deck covering underlay from compartments. Disposal shall be in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Compartments square footages shown are actual. Compartments are not square and actual usage of carpet material will differ from the listed values in most cases. INSPECTION. 5.5.1 In the presence of the Coast Guard Inspector, conduct a visual inspection of all clean decks in the work areas. 5.4 CARPET RENEWAL 5.4.1 Install Tandus Flooring CNA Style #02409 Sentinel II Color El Nino #12032 tiles in accordance with manufacture guidelines and requirements. 5.5.2 Contractor will be escorted and supervised by Coast Guard member at all times on board vessel. 5.5.3 Recommend site visit. REQUIREMENT FOR INSURANCE In accordance with the provisions of FAR Clause 52.228-5, Insurance Work on a Government Installation, (JAN 1997), the Contactor shall furnish to the Contracting Officer a certificate of insurance, identified by contract number, as evidence of the following minimum insurance coverage’s. The Contractor shall furnish this certificate before commencing work at the job site. In addition, the Contractor shall maintain a certificate of insurance for each subcontractor working at the job site. Employer’s Liability: As required by Federal and State Law, $100,000 minimum. All insurance polices shall provide for a notice of cancellation, which shall be given to the Contracting Officer, not less than 30 days before the effective date of such cancellation. All certificates of insurance shall indicate that the above provision has been included. METHOD OF PAYMENT In accordance with FAR Clause 52.232-33, PAYMENT BY ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER—CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (OCT 2003), as contained in Section I, Contract Clause, the Government shall make payment to the Contractor using the EFT information contained in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. In the event that the EFT information changes, the Contractor shall be responsible for providing the updated information to the CCR database. The Government may make payment by EFT through either the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network, subject to the rules of the National Automated Clearing House Association, or the Fedwire Transfer System. The rules governing Federal payments through the ACH are contained in 31 CFR part 210.
