- "RECOVERY" The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service is currently seeking potential bidders for a Firm Fixed Price contract which will consist of furnishing and installing all labor, materials, equipments and incidentals necessary for the construction of the proposed Fort Thompson Water Treatment Plant Building and installation of water treatment plant equipment, Fort Thompson, South Dakota, on the Crow Creek Reservation. The Government will provide the membrane filtration equipment for installation. All other ancillary equipment will be supplies and installed under this project to include but not limited to; all mechanical systems with apparatus/fixtures as required such as; heating, electrical, plumbing, water treatment plant piping, concrete contact tank, chemical feed equipment with monitoring equipment, water plant disinfection piping and injection systems, high service distribution piping and pumps, all water treatment plant equipment associated electrical wiring and apparatus, complete SCADA equipment and installation, provide and install all water treatment plant monitoring equipment as specified, all waste water piping and associated apparatus, waste water drainage piping with manhole, concrete paving of delivery and parking areas, construction of access road, installation of perimeter fencing. The additional construction options include; emergency generator equipment and installation at the intake pump house and water treatment plant, maintenance shop equipment/tools, concrete paving of service road, approximately 4000 feet of 10 inch distribution line, video surveillance equipment. IFB-241-2010-3540 will be made available approximately fifteen (15) days after the date of this publication. Project Magnitude is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 BID BOND, PAYMENT AND PERFORMANCE BONDS ARE REQUIRED. There is a $25.00 non-refundable charge for the solicitation documents. The Indian Preference clause in employment and subcontracting is made part of this solicitation and resultant contract.
