Description

THIS IS ONLY THE PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. NO ACTION IS REQUESTED NOR REQUIRED. THE COMPLETE SOLICITATION INCLUDING ALL SPECIFICATIONS, PLANS AND DRAWINGS WILL BE POSTED ON OR AFTER 17 JUNE 2010, SUBJECT TO CHANGE. The solicitation will be issued in electronic format ONLY and will be posted on the FedBizOpps website when available. This procurement will be issued as a Small Business Set-aside under NAICS code 238220 with a small business standard size of $14.0 Million. The solicitation will be issued as an Invitation For Bid (IFB) utilizing FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding process. The magnitude of this solicitation is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The resulting contract shall be a firm-fixed price construction contract. In accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction Contracts, bonding is required in the form of bid guarantee, and payment and performance bonds. General Description: The National Park Service (NPS) has identified a requirement to have a contractor supply and install a central dust collection system for the NPS Carpenter Shop located in Denali National Park and Preserve, Alaska consisting of seven (7) pieces of shop equipment to be connected to the central dust collection system. Place of Performance: Denali Bay National Park and Preserve, located near milepost 237 Parks Highway, Alaska 99755.
