Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. Note: The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, Rhode Island is NOT accepting quotes or proposals via submission through NECO. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport has a requirement to purchase spare/repair parts in support of the OK-664(V)X/BRC Radio Frequency Distribution and Control System (RFDACS) to support maintenance and repair of fleet assets. The RFDACS provides a means of routing signals and information between the various antenna systems and other submarine communication subsystems. The successful offeror shall provide spare/repair parts in accordance with the technical data package. This is a 3-year requirement and the evaluation criteria will be Best Value (Technical Approach, Past Performance and Price). A parts list has been attached to this pre-solicitation. Please note that the data package associated with this procurement will only be available by requesting a compact disc from the negotiator. Only those offerors that have an active registration in the Joint Certification Program will be provided the compact disc. Please visit http://www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp for further details on the program and registration. To request the data package, please send an email to: irma.s.mattei@navy.mil and include the following information: Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Telephone, E-mail address, Cage Code and JCP Number. A Statement of Work and further details will be released upon issue of RFP #N66604-10-R-3455, which is anticipated to be on or about 07/31/2010.Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to be eligible for award.
