- Description
- The National Science Foundation (NSF) intends to procure the continued services iParadigms, LLC on a sole source basis. Under the order, iParadigms will continue to supply NSF with a licensing agreement that provides use of their plagiarism software (iThenticate). iParadigms is the only known company that provides the ability to search science databases and journals as well as the safeguards to secure NSF's confidential proposals. iThenticate has contracts with science publishers to allow access to science databases and journals, which is representative of where NSF's PI's publish and may copy from. The period of performance is one base year plus two option years, beginning June 5, 2010 through June 4, 2011. The proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to sponsor with only one source under the authority of FAR 12.106. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. This synopsis is for information purposes only.
