- Description
- The Government anticipates issuing a contract for Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) in support of the 782nd Combat Sustainment Group (CBSG), 575th CBSG, WR-ALC, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. This contract is in support of the Reliability Asset Monitoring/Tactical Munitions Reporting System (RAM/TMRS), Advanced Medium Range Air to Air Missiles (AMRAAM), AGM-88 High Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM), Special Operations Forces (SOF), Aircraft Guns/Bomb Rack systems, and Small Arms. The proposed contracting action is for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery (Requirements) type contract with a basic period of one year and four one year option periods. This acquisition is an 8(a) competitive set-aside. The proposed contracting action requirements include the following areas: logistics, item management, administrative, technical and engineering, equipment specialist responsibilities, program management, configuration management, financial management, Local Area Network (LAN) operations, Information Technology and maintenance, database and Information Technology support. The proposed contraction action requires an in-depth understanding of USAF policies and procedures and a working knowledge of the guidelines and procedures used throughout the Department of Defense (DoD). Thorough knowledge and experience with associated automated systems used to enter and extract data is required in order to complete many of the tasks. Offerors should be capable of providing sufficient personnel with the knowledge and experience in various disciplines and functions related to program office operations. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the Request For Proposal (RFP). All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 09 June 2010. The RFP will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities web page ( http://www.fbo.gov/ ). NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted in writing to Jennifer.Lewis@robins.af.mil. NO TELEPHONIC QUESTIONS. All questions and answers will be uploaded to http://www.fedbizopps.gov. However, the identity of the potential offeror will not be included. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of proposal.
