- The Directorate of Contacting, Fort Drum, NY will issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to purchase, deliver, and install a recycling baler on Fort Drum, NY. The successful Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform all work in connection with the purchase and installation of the requested Recycling Baler. The Government will not provide any assistance to the successful Contractor in the installation process. Services will be procured using the procedures in FAR parts 12 and 13. This procurement is unrestricted. As prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004, interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) under the NAICS 333291. This can be done by accessing the Internet at (www.ccr.gov) or calling 1-888-227-2423. Representations and certifications must also be on record through ORCA at www.orca.bpn.gov. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference Baler- W911S2-10-T-3013 in the subject line. There will be a site visit on 25 May 2010 at 9 am ET. Meeting place will be T-45, West Street, Fort Drum, NY 13602. The group will leave from T-45 promptly at 9 am ET to go to the site. All questions must be submitted by 27 May 2010, no questions will be addressed after this date. If needed, a solicitation amendment will be posted by 28 May 2010. All quotes are due 2 June 2010 at 9 am ET. The RFQ and any subsequent amendments will only be available electronically by accessing Federal Business Opportunities at http://vsearch2.fbo.gov/servlet/SearchServlet or the FBO at https://www.fbo.gov/. No hard copies will be provided. All sources wishing to quote are required to monitor this site for the RFQ and amendments.
