Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: a separate solicitation will not be issued. A written paper solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N66394-10-T-5015 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This acquisition is a firm fixed price and solicited as 100% small business set-aside for 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business FAR 19.502-2(a). The government will award on a single purchase order to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the requirement as stated in this synopsis and is most advantageous to the Government based on the lowest price and technically acceptable. The Naval surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, Force Training Department, requires two inverters for new installation. The requirements are for the inverters only. The inverters must be mountable in a 19" or 23" rack by either a shelf or rack mount ears. Offerors are required to provide any literature or data that will allow the engineers to review nd determine acceptability of the proposed item. Failure to provide this information could deem proposal unacceptable. The following items must be an exact match to the salient characteristics. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334419 with an associated small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is 100% set-aside for 8(a) small disadvantaged businesses. Quotes are due no later than 2:00 pm, Pacific Daylight Time, June 4, 2010. Responses/offers shall be submitted electronically to pamela.jarrett@navy.mil. Quotes must be valid for sixty days (60) days after due date. Any amendment(s) issued to this RFQ will be published on this website. Therefore, it is the offeror's responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. See attached.
