- Description
- The United States Air Force through Global Logistics Support Center (GLSC) at Oklahoma City Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is contemplating to procure the repair of Line items cited below for a firm fixed-priced Requirements type contract with one (1) basic year and two (2) one year options with 100% contractor furnished material. This is a sole source integration and repair effort to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) - Northrop Grumman. History: Previous acquisition March 2004, Northrop Grumman. 1. Estimated issue date and estimated closing/response date issued: 10 June 2010 and 12 July 2010. 2. PR # FD2030-10-26999 3. Repair 4. AMC- N/A 5. Noun- Transformer, Power 6. NSN- 5950-01-089-7943HY 7. P/N- 593R248G07 8. Description- Repair of Power Transformer. Applicable to the E-3 Aircraft. The work encompasses the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, reassembly, testing, and finishing actions required to return the items to a serviceable condition. Additional guidance to support the repair will be stipulated in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). 9. Total Line Item Quantities: Item 0001- Teardown Test & Evaluate BEQ Basic Year: 5 ea BEQ Option Year I: 5 ea BEQ Option Year II: 5 ea Item 0002- Different Levels of Repair (0 Stack, 1 Stack, 2, Stack, 3 Item 0005 Stack) Item 0006 Over and Above (TBD) Item 0007 Data in accordance with DD1423 and CAV AF Statement of Work - NSP (Not Separately Priced) 10. Application- E-3 Aircraft 11. Destination- FB 2039, Tinker AFB, OK. 73145-9013 12. Delivery- 90 Days ARO or repairable assets received for Basic Yr, Option Yr I and Option Yr II. 13. Qualification Requirements- N/A 14. Export Control: N/A 15. If unit price exceeds $5,000, then UID requirements will apply. 16. Mandatory Language- An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. The proposed contract action is for repair, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Approved Source is Northrop Grumman located in Linthicum Heights, MD. A Determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
