- This is a request for information for the below requirement. An award will not be made off of this RFI, it is strictly for budgetary planning purposes for a future requirement. Please read the statement of work below and provide a price estimate. STATEMENT OF WORK The contractor shall provide Back-In-The-Saddle training at all major Marine Corps installations in Japan to include MCAS Iwakuni and CATC Camp Fuji from 10 - 21 Jan 2011. Topics shall include the presenter sharing his/her personal experience of being involved in a life altering industrial work accident, negative outcomes of complacency on the job and the ripple effect of work-related mishaps impacting the organization, co-workers and family members, and the struggles faced and overcome by the presenter during the recovery process. Additionally, the presentation should also cover the importance of adhering to work center safety practices, use of personal protective equipment, implementation of risk management on the job, and speaking-up when faced with unsafe conditions. The presenter shall have experience speaking to a military audience and be able to relate their message to the variety of occupational specialties Marines perform. Training shall consist of 18 meaningful oral presentations lasting one hour each session. Presentations can be supplemented by video/Power Point but not exceed more than 20% of the overall training program. The contractor must be able to provide up to four presentations each day within the confines of a basketball gymnasium, movie theater or like venue during various times of the day. The contractor shall provide two copies of their presentation in DVD video format to complement required training for commands within III MEF forward deployed to theaters of operation. Visual aids are not required but highly encouraged. The government will provide audio visual equipment to support the presentation. The contractor shall be able to speak at a volume for which the entire audience can hear effectively. The contractor shall be a critically acclaimed public speaker and show proof that they have been recognized by a professional organization for their public speaking abilities.
