The Navy requires one CH-53D Containerized Flight Training Device (CFTD) to be delivered to MCAS Kaneohe, Hawaii. The CH-53D CFTD will be a self-contained and fully transportable device to be positioned on a concrete pad with connections to a power island. There is currently no build-to-print Technical Data Package available. The CFTD will utilize existing operational software provided from the CH-53D Weapon System Trainer Device 2F121 currently located in Kaneohe, Hawaii, as Government Furnished Information (GFI) to insure maximum compatibility and interoperability. Interoperability will be via the USMC Tactical Environment (TEn) Version 4.0 also provided as GFI. The visual system will provide a 220 degree horizontal and 60 degrees vertical view. A 70 degree vertical view will be required in selected areas around the pilot and co-pilots lower windows. The device will be non-motion. The Technical Data Package Requirement to be delivered shall be non-proprietary in content with information for unlimited rights for use in future competitive procurements. The Technical Data Package shall contain all relevant specifications, standards, and dimensioned/scaled manufacturing drawings along with processes and materials in sufficient detail to allow for the fabrication of assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components.
