- RECOVERY - DEMOLITION OF DISCONTINUED STREAMGAGES AND CABLEWAYS In compliance with the transparency and accountability requirements associated with the supplemental appropriations provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the 'Act'), Public Law 111-5, this notice is provided for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY (See FAR 5.704(a)(2)). The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), intends to modify task order G10PD01135 previously issued under established Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract number G10PC00060 awarded to MWE Services Inc of Lincoln, NE. This modification will increase the quantity of stations ordered for demolition by one (1) within the ordering ceiling of the IDIQ. A modification is issued in lieu of a new task order because the station to be demolished is collocated with a station previously ordered demolished by this task order. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE INCUMBENT CONTRACTOR. The original award was made on a competitive basis. The details of the forthcoming task order modification are as follows: Contract number: G10PC00060Task order number: G10PD01135Modification number: 0001Dollar value of this modification: $37,014.00Brief description: Demolish a cableway structure and emergency shelter collocated with the streamgage structure at Greens Creek, AK previously ordered demolished. Place of performance: Near Greens Creek, Alaska Period of performance: Through 30 September 2010 Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by this task order will utilize funds provided by the Act. Unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements, will be included.
