Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Misouri, intends to make a single supply award for the provision of eight (8) pairs of smoke doors and one 46" x 83" x 2", 12 ga galvenized steel exterior door. All doors shall meet manufacturer specification of HMMA #863. This is a Presolicitation. Specifications will be included in the solicitation. A site visit shall be required to verify exact door size and hinge placement. Information on this site visit will be included in the soliciation. Delivery shall be made to the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 W. Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri. Award will be made to the responsible vendor whose offer, conforming to the solicitation is considered to be most advantageous to the government based on price releated factors. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside, FOB destination, firm fixed price contract. The solicitation will be available on or about June 3, 2010, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed solely through this website. Intersted parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is on or about June 17, 2010. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. Per FAR 52.213-3 each offeror may complete their representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifiations Applications (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. If an offeror has not completed these online, then they shall submit a hard copy with their quotation. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
