Description
This task is an urgent / compelling requirement IAW far 8.405-(b0(3) to provide labor and material for the replacement of Fire Protection Panel at Hill AFB at Ogden, Utah. A lapse in these services will severely impact patients, cause financial problems for the Government and impact the entire mission at Hill AFB Medical Facility. This task is an urgent / compelling requirement IAW far 8.405-(b0(3) to provide labor and material for the replacement of Fire Protection Panel at Hill AFB at Ogden, Utah. The panel has burned up and needs replacement. This is a Life Safety issue the Medical Treatment Facility must have to ensure the safety of all patients, their families, the staff and Administration. The Monaco Fire Protection System in place requires this mother board to function. A lapse in these services will severely impact patients, cause financial problems for the Government and impact the entire mission at Hill AFB Medical Facility. Due to the Mission Critical need of this requirement, a verbal authorization to proceed with the repairs on 13 May 2010, was provide to Kroeschell, the maintenance vendor who maintains the facilty. They are familiar with all aspects of the requirement and continuity of maintenance operations that are vital to the Air Force Mission. A firm fixed price task order modification will be will follow for the replacement of Monaco Panel for the Fire Protection System at Hill AFB medical facility.
