Description
Presolicitation Notice for Non-Personal Services: Ambulatory Medical Coding Auditing and Training Services for 11 Government Furnished Facilities (GFF), to include HQ USAFE/SG and 10 Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) (6 Parents facilities with 4 Spoke Facilities) over the course of five years (base year plus 4 option years). Services will include coding audit analysis, review and oversight of the billing process, and coding consultation to the US Air Forces Europe (USAFE) staff, in accordance with government regulations and established medical nomenclature. Contractor shall execute required training, conduct ambulatory record coding audits, provide feedback to the staff, coordinate and implement data collection tool improvements, answer coding inquiries (local/remote), and assist with coding complex ambulatory medical records. MCAs may also be required to code for specific patients, i.e. pay patients or complex cases. MCAs shall not audit records that they have coded. Request for proposal (RFP) is expected around the timeframe of 28-29 May 2010 and will be posted and available on GSA Advantage.

Address: Contractor shall provide services in government furnished facilities at HQ USAFE/SG and at six each 'hub' medical facilities (MTFs), located at RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom (UK), Spangdahlem and Ramstein AB, Germany; Incirlik AB, Turkey; Aviano AB, Italy; and Lajes Field, Azores. In addition to these six 'hub' facilities, contractor shall provide the services to four smaller 'spoke' facilities of RAF Upwood, Menwith Hill and Croughton in the UK and Geilenkirchen, Germany., Germany
