- This is an amendment to provide additional, pertinent information in response to questions received. 1. THE WATER TANK IS CYLINDRICAL WITH THE DIMENSIONS OF 150 INCHES IN DIAMETER AND 382 INCHES LONG 2. THE TANK REQUIRES A CONFINED SPACE PERMIT. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL CONFINED SPACE ACTIVITY, EG: RETRIEVAL SYSTEM, ENTRY ATTENDANT, ATMOSPHERIC MONITORING, TANK ISOLATION, ETC. VA WILL NOT ASSIST WITH ANY ASPECT OF CONFINED SPACE ENTRY BUT MUST APPROVE CONTRACTOR PROCEDURES. 3. QUESTION: Is there shop air available for us to connect our spray equipment to, or do we need to bring a compressor or does the RELINING IS TO BE DONE BY HAND mean that the material is to be rolled on? ANSWER: The Contractor is to designate application method to achieve rated performance of liner. VA will not provide air compressor but will provide power source (all electrical connection work by contractor). 4. PICTURE IS ATTACHED
