- RECOVERY -- WHITES CREEK FENCE REPLACEMENT -This solicitation has now been posted at www.fedconnect.net.The Bureau of Land Management contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered L10PS02432 on or about May 17, 2010 for Furnishing labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, to remove and replace an existing Chain Link Fence in accordance with BLM specifications and drawings. Work will consist of removing approximately 950 feet of fence and replacing it with an 8 foot high 9 gauge fence fabric including top and bottom rails and outrigger supports for 3 strands of barbed wire. Install pedestrian gate, electronically operated heavy duty aluminum cantilever gate with dual key pad entry post and 15 remote control transmitters. Contractor shall also install a pole mounted security light, provide new electrical service to existing mobile home, remove and install vehicle bollards, and shall perform clearing and other work necessary to provide a complete and functional security fence, gates, and other electrical work. The anticipated period of performance will be 30 calendar days from notice to proceed, with an estimated start date of July 19, 2010. PARTICIPATION - The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this project is 238990, with a size standard of $14 million annually. Payment (100%) and performance (100%) bonds are required. This project is a total small business set-aside, with an estimated magnitude of between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. A firm-fixed price is anticipated. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.FedConnect.net.
