- Please see the attached document for a form with standard questions. SYNOPSIS: The Air Force Enterprise Sourcing Group Furnishings Commodity Council (AF ESG/FCC) is performing market surveillance regarding the furnishings industry as a part of an initiative to strategically source furnishings for the entire Air Force enterprise. The current focus is on office furniture and dorm furniture. Please review the attached document for a standard list of questions. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. GENERAL RFI INFORMATION: The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain industry input and gauge market capabilities for planning purposes as defined in FAR 15.201(e). Market surveillance is sought to maintain a current knowledge base of the depth, breadth and dynamics of the market sector. Market Surveillance is an ongoing process and includes activities the acquisition team performs continuously to keep themselves abreast of changes in the marketplace such as technological advances, process improvements, and available sources of supply. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision-making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Businesses submitting capability packages are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. For copyright purposes, businesses are advised that submitting a proposal implies express permission for the Government to use the data, pictures, and other information contained in the submittals for planning purposes. Any proprietary information provided to the government will not be released to the public.
