Map to SAIC Visit request instructions Instructions to gain access to Contractor Livelink The Global Positioning System (GPS) Wing (GPSW) Military GPS User Equipment (MGUE) program at the Los Angeles Air Force Base (LAAFB) Space and Missile System Center (SMC) invites industry to participate in MGUE Technical Requirements Document (TRD) development working groups (TRD WGs) and the Specification WG (SWG). This activity follows the System Integration with Primes Working Group (SIPWG) held 4 March 2010 to allow greater industry participation in the ongoing MGUE TRD development. The TRD WGs are technical interchange meetings (TIMs) dedicated to the discussion of the requirements which will help define the Common GPS Module and the MGUE Lead Platform Form Factors. Industry, to include small business, is encouraged to access and provide inputs to the requirements documents and be prepared to discuss at the TRD WGs. Comments pertaining to the posted documents may be submitted upon authorized access to the Contractor Livelink site, or to the MGUE Bidders Library site (for those who currently have access). Comments pertaining to the TRD and its Protection Profile for SWG disposition need to be provided by 28 May 2010. Comments received through the end of the SWG will be captured with disposition by around 30 June 2010. The TRD Specification WG is a comprehensive three-day review of the MGUE TRD. The topics associated with the TRD requirements that will be discussed at the TRD WGs are posted as working drafts which can be found on the Contractor Livelink site and temporarily on the MGUE Bidders Library for those who currently have access. Instructions to those who currently have MGUE Bidders Library access: The documents listed below will only be made available on the MGUE Bidders Library until 1 July 2010. After 1 July 2010, all documents will be removed from Bidders Library and will only be available on Contractor Livelink. Please follow the instructions in the below attachment entitled "Contractor Livelink" to allow for uninterrupted access to MGUE documents. Instructions to those who do not have MGUE Bidders Library access: Since GPSW is phasing out MGUE Bidders Library, the Wing will no longer issues new access permissions to MGUE Bidders Library. To gain access to the documents listed below, please follow the instruction in the attachment entitled "Contractor Livelink." The following documents can be found on Contractor Livelink and MGUE Bidders Library (until 1 July 2010): • Draft Common GPS Module Reference Architecture White Paper • Draft Time-To-First-Fix White Paper • Draft Blue Force Electronic Attack White Paper • Draft External Augmentation System (EAS) White Paper • Draft Net-Centric Ready KPP White Paper • Draft Reprogrammability White Paper • Draft Power Isolation White Paper • Draft MGUE Protection Profile • Draft MGUE TRD Requirements TRD WG / SWG REGISTRATION: The TRD WGs will be held at the GPSW SE&I Facility at SAIC - 300 N Sepulveda BLVD Suite 3000, El Segundo, CA 90245, Monday through Thursdays and will continue through 9 June 2010 with the possibility of extension. A teleconference with Web Data Exchange is planned for the CGM, Embedded, Aviation/Maritime TRD WG TIMs. Industry may participate as early as 31 May 2010. The MGUE TRD SWG is planned for 16-18 June 2010 at the same location. In order to attend the TRD WG TIMs and the MGUE TRD SWG, industry must either have access to Contractor Livelink or to the MGUE Bidders Library. Please send a visit request per the attached instructions and contact Mr. Bill Kaneshiro at (310) 416-8433 about your intent to participate in these sessions. Once the visit request is submitted and Mr. Kaneshiro is contacted, a detailed schedule with teleconferencing information will be provided. The general TRD WG TIMs schedule, subject to change, is as follows: • Mondays: o 0900-1200 GB-GRAM Ground Embedded and Handheld o 1400-1500 MGUE TRD Protection Profile • Tuesdays: o 0900-1030 Aviation / Maritime • Wednesdays: o 1300-1600 Main Body / CGM • Thursdays: o 0830-1200 GM-GRAM Ground Embedded and Handheld The MGUE TRD SWG Schedule, subject to change, is as follows: • 16 June (Wed) 0800-1700: Main Body, CGM, Aviation/Maritime • 17 June (Thur) 0800-1700: Aviation/Maritime, Ground Embedded/Handheld, (CGM as required) • 18 June (Fri) 0800-1700: Aviation/Maritime, Protection Profile, (others as required) As with the SIPWG, break-out sessions may be convened at the SWG. Requests must be received no later than 28 May 2010. A map to the host facility and instructions for a visit request can be found in the attachments entitled, "Map to SAIC," and "Visit request instructions." Although the instructions state that a visit request is not required for unclassified visits, participants are encouraged to do so anyway to obtain a "No Escort Badge."
