- Synopsis SUSTAINABLE PAVEMENTS PROGRAM Description This is a Pre-Solicitation notice (synopsis) for a full and open competition. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement to establish a sustainable pavements program. This program shall be integrated to consider both asphalt and concrete materials in pavement systems. Work may include: •· Establishment of a technical working group. •· Development of guidelines for designing and constructing sustainable pavement systems. •· Evaluation of materials, processes, technologies, and tools to aid in evaluation, design, and construction of sustainable pavement systems. •· Technology transfer and deployment activities. The RFP will be released and available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Interested parties may register at the aforementioned site to receive a variety of procurement announcements/notifications. It is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the FedBizOpps website for any amendments to the RFP package. NO OTHER PROCUREMENT INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME.
