- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The resulting contract will utilize funds provided by the AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) of 2009; interested parties are notified that the inclusion of unique provisions required in implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency, will be required of the successful bidder. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after 27 May 2010 to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition will be distributed solely through this website. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201; however, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. Description of Work. 1. General refurbishment of McGilivray Campground, including mobilization to site and providing all equipment, labor, management and quality control to complete the job as shown in the plans and specifications within the contract time. 2. Removal and replacement of campground equipment, toilets and signage. 3. Installation of new water system. 4. Refurbishment of roads and trails with asphaltic materials. 5. Refurbishment and removal of existing structures. 6. Installation of new structures. 7. Installation of Photovotaic Panels and electrical systems There are several additive bid item. The additive item will be awarded if funding is available. PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is approximately 23 miles north of Libby, MT along National Forest System Road (NFSR) 228 in T31N, R29W Section 3. Signs to the McGillivray are located along Hwy 37, and NFSR 228. From Libby, Montana travel northeast on HWY 37 approximately 13 miles to the junction with FSR 228, turn north onto NFSR 228. Travel approximately 10 miles to McGillivray Campground, on the east side of the road. There is no pre-bid/pre-conference scheduled for this effort. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 888-227-2423 or via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov//.
