Description
The U.S. Army, Army Contracting Command (ACC), Joint Munitions & Lethality(JM&L) Contracting Center, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf Benet Laboratories, Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet, NY 12189-4000, is contemplating award of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs). Interested sources should be capable of providing a wide variety of video inspection equipment and documentation for developmental components, fixtures, and hardware in support of the Rifled Dial Bore Gage Project. This includes but is not limited to the following: video inspection devices, video measuring systems, precision measuring devices, recording capabilities, replacement parts, and all supporting equipment. The object of the Rifled Dial Bore Gage Project is to find a gage to replace the antiquated pull-over gage which is currently fielded. Reproducibility and repeatability studies showed a large error margin with this pullover gage. In order to eliminate erroneous data reporting which could result in premature tube condemnation, a new dial bore gage has been developed. This gage is easy to read and goes to the exact location in the bore where the diameter is to be measured in accordance with the Technical Manual. Studies show that this gage eliminates data collection errors by allowing the soldier to collect a more precise and accurate measurement. The Government may enter into one or multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) as a result of this notice. This notice is set-aside to small business concerns. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. The Government will accept written questions by email only. Submittals and questions should be directed to the following point of contact: US Army Contracting Command, Attn. Christina Nigro, CCJM-JA, Bldg. 10, Picatinny, NJ 07806-5000, or via email at christina.nigro@us.army.mil. Note, this notice does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ), nor will the Government be issuing a formal RFP/RFQ as this is a Blanket Purchase Agreement. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this notice.
