Description

REF: Morrell House Accessibility Modification Project, Fillmore and Columbia St., Harpers Ferry National Historic Park, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425. A. The work of this contract comprises the demolition, excavation, and construction of accessible entrance and on-grade accessible ramp for the Morrell House located on the southeast corner of Fillmore and Columbia Streets, Harpers Ferry, WV. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 238190 with a small business size standard of $14 million of annual average gross revenues of the total concern for the last 3 fiscal years. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public Law 100-656. (Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.10) Accordingly, it is open to all small and large responsible offerors. However, a HUBZone small business price evaluation factor will apply. The solicitation with specifications, drawings, and wage rates will be posted to the websites http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about 05/25/2010. TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. No hard copies of the solicitation package will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from http://ideasec.nbc.gov. Contractors must register on the website in order to retrieve copies of the solicitation and any possible amendments. Instructions are contained on the website for downloading solicitation and attachments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge ALL amendments to the solicitation. To download the solicitation all interested offerers must have a DUNS number. To receive a DUNS number please contact Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505. All responses will be delivered by express mail or hand carried by 12:00 PM EST, 06/24/2010. Proposal due date is approximate; actual date will be established at the time solicitation documents are available.
