Description
Replace the existing multi-zone HVAC controller unit, Carrier Model 39W9-769,10hp, with a new HVAC controller unit of similar size and capacity, in order to provide increased system reliability, improved reporting via Internet or LAN connection, optimize energy efficiency using state-of-the-art measurement and verification methods, improved air quality (temperature control, filtration, and airflow). Also, replace the existing 24 loop chilled water coil, two small air handling units with new units of similar capacity. Connect to existing ductwork. Replace the existing return air fan with a new fan of similar capacity. Replace the (7) roof mounted fume exhaust fans with similar fans of equal capacity. Re-use the existing exhaust stacks with the new fans. Verify fit of existing and replacement multi-zone unit, air handlers, and return air fan, located in the basement mechanical room, with access is through double doors into the cooling tower pit. CFM measurements are required at all building locations affected by the replacement equipment. Retrofit existing 4 power panels (A,C,F,M) to allow new flush mount-style panel. 22ka rated panels are required, or equivalent with an interrupting rating equal to the existing equipment. Additional breaker positions requested, if technically feasible. All electrical work shall conform to applicable NEC requirements. Additive Item: Provide turnkey inclusion of web-enabled control of the supplied HVAC units to replace the aging timers. Request for proposal including specifications and photographs will be posted in 15 days. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000.
