- RECOVERY ACT: Project 501-09-111; USP 797 Pharmacy Compliance, Building 41. This pre-solicitation is issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) construction contract. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for Project 501-09-111, USP 797 Pharmacy Compliance as required by drawings and specifications. Contract completion time is One-Hundred (100) calendar days after Notice to Proceed is issued. A pre-bid meeting/walkthrough is scheduled for June 01, 2010 at 11:00AM local time, attendance is not mandatory, but is strongly encouraged. This is the only site visit that will be provided for this procurement and interested offerors are highly encouraged to attend. Attendees are to convene at Building 56 (Conference Room). All questions from this walkthrough must be submitted via E-Mail, emailed to both Len.Wisneski@va.gov & Patti.Amidon@va.gov by June 9, 2010 - 10:00AM local time. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare & Information Technology Act of 2006, Pursuant to 38 USC 8127 (d), this construction project is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). All prospective contractors must be registered on the VetBiz website, http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/, to be considered for award. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and in accordance with FAR 2.101 & VAAR 802.101 VetBiz registration, prospective SDVOSB firms must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov and in the Vet-Biz databases http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/, prior to award. They must also have a current record in the Online Representations & Certifications Application (ORCA) website located here, https://orca.bpn.gov No hard copies of the solicitation or drawings will be provided; you have access to them at this free site; https://www.fbo.gov/, once the solicitation is posted. All amendments issued to this solicitation will ONLY be available on the FBO website; https://www.fbo.gov/. Bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. Potential offerors to note the OSHA training requirements as listed in the General Requirements section. Work cannot commence until VA receives proof of required OSHA training & has the performance & payment bonds. Sealed bid opening is on or about; 06/23/2010 at 11:00AM local time. Electronic and faxed bids will NOT be accepted. Award is subject to the availability of funds. NO BIDDER'S MAILING LISTS ARE MAINTAINED WITH THE CONTRACTING OFFICER. The estimated dollar value for this procurement is between $250,000 and $500,000 The solicitation will be issued on/or about May 24, 2010.
