Description
Recovery Act: This is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside for Air, Oxygen and Vacuum System - work includes, but not limited to: selective demolition of individual room gypsum board walls and ceilings; provision, installation, connection and test of new medical gas piping, include new pipe to connect exist risers; patching of gypsum borad walls and ceilings to include mud, papering, sanding, painting - match exist; provision, installation, connection, and test of new oxygen and medical air inlets, medical vacuum outlets, zone valve boxes, and alarm panels; provision, installation, connection piping and wiring and test duplex medical air compressor to replace exist system; provision, installation, wiring and test of dental air compressor, which is a new system and will be wired for functionality, but not connected to a piping system; provision, installation, connection piping and wiring, and test new duplex medical vacuum system to replace existing. Complete area clean up will follow each phase, with all material used in the insulation and all material removed in the demolition disposed of by the contractor/subcontractor at a qualified state, regulated landfill “ Disposal documented and submitted to GEMS and Safety Coordinator. Other items included are Deduct Alt #1 (Installation, connection piping and wiring, and test of duplex medical air compressor); Deduct Alt #2 (Installation, wiring and test of dental air compressor); Deduct Alt #3 (Installation, connection piping and wiring, and test of duplex medical vacuum system. All work accomplished IAW SPECS and Drawings. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS Code) is 236220. Project Magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. The proposed period of performance for this acquisition is 180 calendar days with three (3) deductive alternates. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about May 21, 2010 via Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. It is the responsibility of all interested parties to review the FBO website frequently for updates and/or amendments to any and all documents for this solicitation. Any prospective SDVOSB contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov/, and the Vetbiz Registry at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/general_user/search/, in order to be eligible for award. The closing date and time for submission of bids will be contained in the solicitation. No paper copies will be issued. No telephone, facsimile, or written request will be accepted.
