- Overhaul Specification The USCG Surface Forces Logistics Center, Long Range Enforcer Product Line, is seeking qualified sources for the overhaul of Controllable Pitch Propeller (CPP) hubs originally manufactured by Propulsion Systems Inc. CPP Hubs are used onboard 378' High Endurance Cutters and 210' Medium Endurance Hubs. Preservation and packaging will be performed in accordance with controllable pitch propeller hub standard overhaul specification R-245-0155. All parts shall be new. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to Receiving Room, U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center, Long Range Enforcer Product Line, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore MD 21226-5000. A firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract is anticipated. The contract will consist of a base and four option years. It is the Government's belief that only the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Propulsion Systems Incorporated, or its authorized dealers/distributors can complete the required overhaul, furnish the required parts and ensure the proper form, fit and function of all its components. Therefore it is the Government's intent to solicit only to the OEM or its authorized dealers/distributors. Request for Quotation (RFQ) HSCG40-10-Q-30089 shall be available for download on or about May 21, 2010. This date is an estimate at best. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received shall be considered by the agency. For information regarding this acquisition contact the Contracting Officials listed herein.
