Description

The United States Geological Survey, Idaho Water Science Center in Boise, Idaho has a requirement for one used vehicle. The required specifications will be identified in the forthcoming solicitation. A formal solicitation is not available for release at this time. The Government intends to award this requirement in accordance with the procedures of FAR Part 12, entitled, "Acquisition of Commercial Items." The Request for Quote (RFQ), number 10WRQQ0191, will be made available through the Government-wide Point of Entry (GPE) on or about 13 May 2010, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 5.102(a)(1). All firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov, as well as, the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) to be considered for award. Responses must be in writing, by e-mail to the Contracting Officer at sklingler@usgs.gov. This notice and any resulting solicitation or contract conforms to the requirements in place through FAC 2005-40, effective 22 April 2010. NAICS: 441220 - Used Car Dealers.
